The Santa Fe Artists’ Medical Fund was founded in 1996 by artist Armond Lara and a group of individuals concerned about the problems faced by professional artists lacking medical insurance. Since its inception, the Santa Fe Artists Medical Fund has assisted many artists during times of medical needs through grants administered by the Santa Fe Community Foundation.

Despite changes to health care laws our fund remains pertinent to the Santa Fe community by helping artists meet their healthcare needs by paying hospitals, doctors and other medical expenses.

How You Can Help:

Attend the Auction in December and bid for art. Invite your friends. Become an Event Sponsor. Donate an event advertisement in a local publication. Volunteer your time.

Please note that we are a nonprofit 501 (C)3 organization under the umbrella of the Santa Fe Community Foundation. All donations and gifts are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
